the Hulk

We had Lex's 6 week check-up yesterday. He's very healthy....and very large. He's literally off the charts...over the 97th percentile for both weight and height. He's 13 lb 9 oz and 26 inches long....wow. His reflexes are good, he's very alert and he's really started to lock eyes with us and other objects (see picture w/him staring at Gabe). He's even starting to smile!!! and we looooove that. Unfortunately he's still having digestion problems which causes him to have really bad days....sometime screaming bloody murder which is horrifying for mom and dad. It's terrible not being able to fix it. So we're waiting until he's 8 weeks old to begin further testing because most children w/this problem tend to grow out of it by then. Let's pray that he does!!!

Lex is 19!!

Our little one is 19 days old today. We're went to the pediatrician today and he's already 11.2 lbs!!! A linebacker in the making. He's as healthy as can be and we love his doctor.

Life w/a newborn is exhausting...as we all know. He's still pretty good but does get fussy and screams bloody murder and it's heartbreaking. But luckily he doesn't wail at night....so far.

One video is a good display of his many faces that he makes while waking and the other was taken at the dr. this morning. He's pretty funny! As for the pics...we obviously have hundreds and these are a few of our faves!
